Berean Mennonite Bible Conference
The Berean Mennonite Bible Conference began in 1978. The burden for organizing the conference came out of a desire to be faithful to the exhortation in Jude 3 that calls believers to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints”. The name ‘Berean’ was chosen because of the testimony of the Bereans spoken of in Acts 17:11 that “…they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so”.
We believe it is vitally important in this era to continue to “…speak thou the things which become sound doctrine” (Titus 2:1) and to stir up the Church of Jesus Christ to fulfill the commission He left us; “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:19)
